***Learn to Knit: Dishcloth Series***
Heidi and Katie are teaching a series of dishcloth classes, each focusing on a different skill. During the weeks we are teaching, Heidi will teach a class from 10-11am on Tuesdays, and Katie will teach from 5-6pm on Thursdays. Participants do not need to take both classes; we are hoping to reach all who are interested by offering two different days and times. With exception to the first class, all of the classes are free. The recommended yarn for all of the classes is Cotton Supreme (solids, we don't recommend black while learning) and either a size 7 or 8 needle. We hope to see you there!
1.) Intro to Knitting: Saturday, June 15th, 3-4:30pm
Instructor: Katie Brousseau Fee: $20 includes yarn, needles, and "learn to knit" book
Description: during this class we will start with the basics. Participants will learn how to cast on,
the knit stitch, and how to bind off. No previous experience is necessary. Ages 12 and up, please.
