Colorwork/Stranded Knitting: Thursday, November 19th; 5-7:30pm
Instructor: Anne Podlesak of Wooly Wonka Fibers
Fee: $65 includes pattern and yarn; please bring one US size 6 circular needles, 16 inch and a set of stitch markers to fit needles
Description: In this class, participants will learn to knit a colorwork/stranded knit cowl. This technique, also known as Fair Isle knitting, will let you use two beautiful DK-weight colorways to create the Toltec Gorge Cowl.

Slouch Hat Knitting Class: Wednesdays December 2nd and 9th; 7-8:30pm

Fee: $30 includes pattern and yarn; please bring one 16" US size 7 circular needle, one 16" US size 8 circular needle, and one set of US size 8 double-pointed needles
Description: participants will be making this on-trend lacy slouch hat, Plum Tree Slouch by Alana Dakos. This class will cover the skills of knitting in the round, lace knitting (including reading a chart), and decreasing.
Note: in order to start right away with the lace section, participants are encouraged to knit the first two inches (stockinette stitch) of the hat prior to the first class. Needles purchased for this class will receive a 10% discount...please remind us at the register!

Fee: $45 includes supplies and instruction for 15 Christmas cards; please bring dry adhesive

Our policy is that if it's during business hours, and it's understood that we may need to get up to help customers, Heidi and I are happy to teach/help for free. Just give us a call or shoot us an email (classes@warmheartsyarn.com) and we can set something up. Also, our open stitching group is from 4-7 on Wednesdays, and beginners are welcome!
