Classes This Week - Exploring Felt & Basket Weave Dishcloth

Youth Summer Program, 2013
Warm Hearts Yarn is excited to offer a variety of youth summer programs for Summer 2013! Each program is one week long, from 1:00-3:00p.m. The fee for each week is $65/student and includes all materials. Please stop on by, call us, or email Katie at classes@warmheartsyarn.com to register.

Exploring Felt: June 17-21 - starts today, we still have room.
Instructor: Katie Brousseau
Wool and other animal fibers experience wonderful changes when felted using water and friction. Students will explore these changes while wet and needle felting several fun projects. This class is appropriate for ages five and up. Limit: 8

Sewing 101: June 24-28 - starts next Monday Instructor: Jo Beth Steinhaus
During this introduction to sewing class, students will learn machine and hand-sewing basics while creating at least three fun projects. No experience necessary. Sewing machines and materials will be provided. Ages ten and up, please. Limit: 6 (If more are interested, we are able to schedule a second session).

***Learn to Knit: Dishcloth Series***
Heidi and Katie are teaching a series of dishcloth classes, each focusing on a different skill. During the weeks we are teaching, Heidi will teach a class from 10-11am on Tuesdays, and Katie will teach from 5-6pm on Thursdays. Participants do not need to take both classes; we are hoping to reach all who are interested by offering two different days and times. With exception to the first class, all of the classes are free. The recommended yarn for all of the classes is Cotton Supreme (solids, we don't recommend black while learning) and either a size 7 or 8 needle. We hope to see you there!

bind off.
