Skill Building Block 8 - Mosaic



Continuing to build on our colorwork in this block we will learning how to work mosaic patterns.

We will be focusing on a new skill every two weeks and learning it by making small (36 stitches x 50 rows) blocks. Skill building blocks can be used for many purposes. Sew them together to make afghans, pillow covers or even sweaters. Make them longer for scarves. Do them in cotton for dishcloths or facecloths. The possibilities are endless.

Location: Warm Hearts Yarn, 35 Rover Blvd, White Rock, NM

Date: 23 June from 4:30 to 6:30 (drop in when you can, leave when you need to)

Materials
Yarn of your choice in two colors.
Needles that are appropriate for your yarn.
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Pattern will be provided at the workshop.
