Introduction to Colorwork Class

Thursday, Nov. 14, 5-7:30 pm.
Fee: $45, includes pattern and yarn (please bring one size 16" US 4 circular needle and 6 stitch markers)
Instructor: Anne Podlesak
Description
Colorwork:  An introduction to the basics of working with multiple colors of yarn.  This class will cover the different types of colorwork, but will focus on a stranded (sometimes called Fair Isle) technique for this class.  During class, we will focus on reading stranded knitting charts and learn how to work 2 colors with 2 hands.  Class participants will be able to work on a colorwork cowl during the class time, and will be able to take the project and supplies home with them to complete the cowl.  Class members should be familiar with the knit stitch.  Members will need to bring one 16" circular needle, size US 5 with them and 6+ stitch markers that will fit on those needles.  All other materials (including a pattern and yarn) will be provided by the instructor.

To register, please stop on by the shop, call us at (505) 672-2008 or send an email to classes@warmheartsyarn.com. We appreciate 24 hour class registration notice so we are best able to prepare for our students. Thank you!
