Just in time for the super cold weather, here’s a manly but oh-so knotty cap.
Inspired by my hottie husband’s wild side: adventurous but protecting, fashionable but manly and naughty but nice. The same can be said for the hat: the ribbing is basic, but the cabled knot, well, it’s a bit knotty at times.
This hat is the perfect thank-you gift for the man or woman in your life that pretends not to notice that your stash is like guppies (constantly multiplying), and that once again you brought knitting to bed in scrubby jammies.
We are open today
Don't forget to stop by and see all the new Christmas items.

Colourspun would be a nice yarn for this pattern.

Felt Christmas Stockings
Cascade 220 would work well for this project.
Create a classic stripe or sheep design. Note: Choose a wool or other natural fibre that will felt easily. Some white yarn does not felt well - the sheep design uses grey for felting.
Yarn Requirements:
Striped stocking: 200 yards of main color and 100 yards of contrast.
Sheep stocking: 200 yards of main color, 100 yards of sheep color and a small amount of black for ears, feet, face and tail.

Yarn of the Week - Felted Tweed
Enjoy a 10% discount all week.
Felted* Tweed DK is a wonderful, tweedy yarn with a felted look, is a beautiful blend of merino wool, alpaca and viscose. The rustic colour palette makes this yarn perfect for fairisles, striping and other colour work. A firm favourite with our designers.
*Please note, this is a lightly pre-felted yarn that knits to a lightweight fabric with a felted effect. Please follow care instructions, as the yarn may felt further if washed incorrectly
