Amateur Chemistry Laboratory makes fine toiletries and bath products, including handmade soaps, lotions, lip balms and bath bombs that are made locally in Los Alamos. The soaps are designed to be both beautiful looking and good for your skin. Recently, ACL has added naturally dyed and un-dyed products and will include unscented items in the future. St. Patrick's Day soaps, including soap with gold dust, will be available starting this week. In March, ACL will be adding "fantasy tropical vacation" products for the spring. These items are tropically colored and scented soaps and a tropically flavored lip balm that are designed to bring the beach to NM.
