Don't Be  A Square, Learn to Knit, Afghan Knit-Along,  Block Eighteen, Nupp Beginnings

Last time, bobbles, this time, nupps!  Block Eighteen, Nupp Beginnings uses another kind of round raised stitch to create a similar festive effect.

By the way, did everybody but me know it was pronounced “noop?”  I’ve been saying “nuhp” all these years.   However, in this video, Amy pronounces it correctly as she shows us how to work one of these little popped-up stitches.

If you know how to knit and purl but are ready for the next step this KAL (Knit-Along) is for you. Cimidar KAL

"When designing these legwarmers I was strongly inspired by Susie Roger's Reading Mitts. I simply loved this simple pattern, this elegant look!

I tried to design something similar, something matching. Both combined are a great eyecatcher, making an awesome autumn outfit.

The difficulty of these legwarmers is very low. Skills needed are knit, purl, yo, k2tog, casting on and binding off." - by Melanie Berg

Instructor: Heidi Narum
Fee: Free

Materials
Yarn of your choice with appropriate DPN or circular needles and a swatch of 20 stitches by 20 rows.
