Classes this week - Learn to knit lace and Up-cycled Jeans Quilt

***Learn to Knit: Dishcloth Series***

Heidi and Katie are teaching a series of dishcloth classes, each focusing on a different skill. During the weeks we are teaching. Participants do not need to take both classes; we are hoping to reach all who are interested by offering two different days and times. With exception to the first class, all of the classes are free. The recommended yarn for all of the classes is Cotton Supreme (solids, we don't recommend black while learning) and either a size 7 or 8 needle. We hope to see you there!

 

4.) Lace Dishcloth: focus on creating lace with increases (yarnovers) and decreases. Prerequisites:
knowledge of the knit and purl stitches, and cast on and bind off.
Session 1: Tuesday, July 23rd, 6-7pm

Instructor: Katie Brousseau; Fee: free

Fee: $30 includes jean material (or feel free to bring your own!)
We have sewing machines available for use. Beginners are welcome!
Participants under 10 years of age are welcome with an accompanying adult!
