Fee: $20 includes all supplies While the winter of 2014 has been mild enough to contemplate some days on the river, most cold winters are a good time to restock those flies you lost last summer. Rather than order from Orvis or drive all the way across the Rio Grande valley, why not tie your own? Aaron will guide you through materials selection and use, tools of the trade, and some basic techniques to get you started. We will walk through a pattern or two so you can get a start on stocking your fly box. And we'll explore the aesthetics and philosophy behind the ancient art of making your own flies and lures for fishing.

Dish Cloth Workshop #3: Cables
In this class, participants will be learning how to read and execute cable-stitch patterns.

Tuesday, 11 March, 5-6:30
Instructor: Heidi Narum
Fee: Free instruction and pattern
Supplies needed: worsted-weight cotton yarn (Cotton Supreme works great) and size 7 needles
Pre-requisite: mastery of cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch and bind-off.
