We will be doing it as a KAL with 2 sessions.

Session 1 – Getting Started, we will cast on with the provisional cast on and review the necessary stitches and chart reading.

Session 2 – Finishing – we will review the Kitchener stitch and blocking. Also a show and tell moment.
Thursday, 8 May, 5-7

This is a beginner project. You should be able to knit and purl.

Mason Jar Caddy Class - Friday



Mason Jar Caddy Class
Join Gloria for a "Girls' Night Out" while making this cute, fun and functional craft organizer.  It can be used to hold scrapbook embellishments, knitting needles, crochet hooks, scraps of yarn, or whatever needs to be organized!  Refreshments will be provided. :)

Don't Be A Square, Learn to Knit, Afghan Knit-Along, Block Two, Do The Wave. - Tuesday



Don't Be  A Square, Learn to Knit, Afghan Knit-Along, Block Two, Do The Wave.

If you know how to knit and purl but are ready for the next step this KAL (Knit-Along) is for you. We will be joining Universal Yarn and Amy Gunderson for this KAL and you will have the added benefit of hands on help from Heidi. If you missed block one - no worries, we will help you catch up.

It’s knitalong time again! Amy Gunderson is guiding us through the Don’t Be A Square Afghan Knitalong. Starting in March, we’ll be featuring a square every other week in Uptown Worsted. The squares will showcase a variety of techniques like cabling, intarsia, and unique textures.
The color changes in this block are worked using the intarsia method. Only a single color is held at any given time. When it’s time to switch to a different color in the middle row, put a single twist in the yarns to avoid holes from forming in the knitting.

Dishcloth Workshop #5: Lace - Saturday

In this class, participants will be learning how to read and execute knitted lace patterns.
